Safe Haven provides crisis intervention to any victim of domestic and/or sexual violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, individual and group counseling, legal advocacy (criminal and civil matters), counseling and advocacy for children, information and referral, and community education. Safe Haven serves New Haven County.

The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services (UCDVS) provides services to victims of domestic violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, walk-in crisis services (counseling, advocacy and information, filing of temporary restraining orders, referral, and safety planning, and sheltering.), emergency safe house (individual and group counseling, advocacy, law enforcement-based victim assistance, children’s counseling programs, safety education and planning, and emergency advocacy.), court based advocacy, transitional housing, support groups, legal advocacy, teen program, and community education. Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services serves Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Branford, Derby, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Madison, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton, West Haven, and Woodbridge.
