YWCA Delaware’s Domestic Violence programs help victims of domestic violence and their families by providing crisis support, emergency shelter, transitional housing and recovery services for adult victims of domestic violence, and violence prevention services for youth ages 11-17.

Abriendo Puertas is an emergency shelter program for Latina women and children in domestic violence situations in Sussex County. Abriendo Puertas also offers family therapy, case management, and transition services. To obtain service, call the bilingual (English/Spanish) 24-hour hotline.
