The City of Jacksonville’s Social Service Division provides services to victims of crimes and their significant others. Services include case management, information and referrals to outside resources, application assistance and follow-up with Florida Victim Compensation, Victims’ Rights information and advocacy, court accompaniment and criminal justice support, and more. The City of Jacksonville Social Service Division serves the City of Jacksonville.

Hubbard House provides services to victims of domestic violence and their families. Services include a 24-hour hotline, an emergency shelter, outreach center, individual counseling, children’s services, court advocacy, and career help. Hubbard House serves Baker and Duval Counties.

Founded in 1995 as a non-profit, community-based resource center dedicated to improving the lives of women, the Women’s Center of Jacksonville has grown from providing a limited information and referral service from a rented room in the Riverside neighborhood to serving over 7,500 persons annually at our locations in Arlington, the S.A.F.E. Center in Southside, and satellite locations in Nassau and Baker Counties. In addition to our educational, mental health counseling, peer support, and rape victim advocacy services, WCJ is the certified Rape Crisis Center for Duval, Nassau, and Baker Counties and provides forensic exams for sexual assault survivors of all genders over the age of 18.
