Oasis, formerly the Calcasieu Women’s Shelter and Rape Crisis Outreach, supports victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The Domestic Violence Program offers a 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, residential services, outreach services, a children’s program, legal advocacy, and community education. The Sexual Assault Program offers a 24-hour hotline, medical and legal advocacy, counseling, support groups, criminal justice assistance, and community education. Iris Domestic Violence Center serves victims of domestic violence and their children. Services include 24-hour crisis line; emergency shelter; safety planning; danger assessment; support groups; children’s services; case management; advocacy and counseling; legal representation for protective order applicants; court advocacy; information and referral; relocation assistance and more. All services are free and confidential. Services are offered to residential (in-shelter) as well as nonresidential survivors. Iris DV Center serves the parishes of East Baton Rouge, Ascension, Iberville, West Baton Rouge, Pointe Coupee, West Feliciana, and East Feliciana.

Domestic Abuse Resistance Team (DART) provides vital services to victims of domestic and dating violence and their children throughout a seven parish area in North Central Louisiana. Services include a 24-hour crisis helpline, emergency shelter and non-residential services such as counseling, safety planning, and children´s services.

Metro Centers for Community Advocacy offers services including individual advocacy, information and referrals, group support, medical advocacy, legal advocacy, emergency shelter, individual support, safety planning, and caregiver support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and dating violence. Serving Jefferson, St. Charles, St. James, St. John, St. Tammany, Plaquemines, Gretna, River, and New Orleans parishes.

Communities Against Domestic Abuse (CADA) provides emergency shelter, safety and counseling for victims of domestic violence and their dependent children. All services are confidential and free.

Faith House is a domestic violence crisis center and shelter for survivors and their children. Services include: a 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, a non-residential program, transitional housing program, permanent housing program, public education, and the Family Justice Center of Acadiana. Serving seven parishes throughout Central and South Louisiana: Lafayette, Acadia, Vermilion, St. Landry, Evangeline, Avoyelles, Rapides.

Project SAVE offers empowerment counseling, a 24-hour crisis line, comprehensive case management services, and intervention services for children including music, art, and play therapy to break the cycle of abuse. All services are free of charge. Serving Orleans Parish.

The Family Justice Center of Central Louisiana provides services to survivors of family violence, domestic abuse and sexual assault. You can speak with an advocate, get help with developing a safety plan, and more. Services are available by appointment or walk-in.

Project Celebration offers a number of services to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence in the community, including crisis intervention, safety planning, emergency shelter, support groups, and legal advocacy. All services are confidential and free of charge.

Family Violence Program of St. Bernard provides a variety of services including: 24 hour crisis helpline, emergency shelter, individual advocacy, counseling for women, teens, and children, art therapy, and children’s groups.

Chez Hope serves victims of domestic violence in the southern parishes of Louisiana. Services include: a 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, safety planning, a batterer’s intervention program, support groups, a children’s program, and more. Serving St. Mary, Assumption, St. Martin and Iberia parishes.

Safe Harbor Domestic Violence Program provides a safe place to stay and a variety of critical support services ranging from crisis intervention and legal advocacy to playgroups and counseling for kids. All services free of charge.

Southeast Advocates of Family Empowerment, through it’s SAFE program, serves survivors of domestic violence and their children. SAFE provides 24-hour crisis intervention in Tangipahoa, Livingston, St. Helena, and Washington parishes, and rapid rehousing in Washington Parish. The agency’s services include: a 24-hour hotline, safety planning, individual/group counseling, emergency food and clothing, temporary lodging, transitional housing, transportation, legal advocacy, court preparation, and court accompaniment.
