Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center provides services to victims of domestic violence in the Blackstone Valley area. Offering comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence such as a 24-hr helpline, residential program, support groups, court advocacy, law enforcement advocacy and community education on the issue of domestic violence. Through the Latino Advocacy Program victims of domestic violence (men and women) receive services and assistance to ensure their voices are heard during the criminal process; regardless of their immigration status, cultural, and language barriers. Bilingual interpretation services available.

Crossroads Rhode Island’s Domestic Violence Program provides specialized, trauma-informed services to address the unique needs of domestic violence survivors helping the victims find safe, secure and stable housing. Additional services include a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, rapid re-housing, advocacy, support groups, and children’s enrichment programs.

The Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) through its Family Care Community Partnerships (FCCP) program offers a prevention-focused network of providers and resources that will partner with families to raise healthy children in a safe, caring environment. FCCP provides services and supports children, youth and families not involved with the DCYF.

Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center (EBCC) is a statewide agency supporting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault through education, advocacy, and therapeutic services. Their services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, transitional housing, court advocacy, counseling, support groups, law enforcement advocacy, and more. They have law enforcement advocates in 15 cities and towns to provide crisis intervention services. EBCC is a safe space for LGBTQ+ community members.

The Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights investigates claims of discrimination as it pertains to race, color, sex, (including pregnancy), disability, ancestral origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression and age, marital and familial status. Provides access to a wide range of agencies in the community that offer services for victims of violence.

The Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Unit (DV/SA) addresses crimes of violence committed among family and household members throughout the State of Rhode Island. This unit works to ensuring victim safety and offender accountability. Referrals for statewide resources and services available through prosecutors/advocates.

Rhode Island Office of Heathy Aging protects older adults (60 years and older) and people with disabilities who are victims of financial and/or physical abuse. Services are extended to those living in a long-term care facility or in their own home.
