Belton Victim Services provides services to victims of crime. A request for Victim Assistance crisis response must be made through the Belton Police Department. Services include: counseling, court and police advocacy, information and referral, emergency assistance, 24-hour crisis intervention, transportation to the hospital, friend’s home, shelter, or safe place, short-term support, victim compensation and crime prevention information, case status information, information about the court system, public awareness, and protection of and education about the victim’s rights.
