Belton Victim Services provides services to victims of crime. A request for Victim Assistance crisis response must be made through the Belton Police Department. Services include: counseling, court and police advocacy, information and referral, emergency assistance, 24-hour crisis intervention, transportation to the hospital, friend’s home, shelter, or safe place, short-term support, victim compensation and crime prevention information, case status information, information about the court system, public awareness, and protection of and education about the victim’s rights. Belton Victim Services serves Cass County.
