We list the organizations by the county where the office is located, but many offices serve multiple counties. You can click “View All” to look through the complete list of organizations. Safeplace provides services to six mostly rural counties Lauderdale,Colbert,Lawrence,Franklin,Marion, Winston. Offering a 24-hr help line, case management, safety planning, children’s services, court advocacy, emergency shelter, supportive and transitional housing. Safeplace is able to provide assistance to Spanish speaking victims of abuse. Hispanic liaisons provide case management, court advocacy and personal advocacy. All informational materials have been translated into Spanish. Safeplace also has a pool of Spanish speaking volunteers to help families in need.

The Domestic Violence Intervention Center offers: emergency shelter, a 24-hr crisis hotline, case management, court and legal advocacy, child advocacy, therapy,safety planning and assesment intervetion liaisons. Serving Chambers, Lee, Macon, Randolph and Tallapoosa Counties.

Crisis Services of North Alabama (CSNA) provides trauma-informed, comprehensive services to victims, including: Court advocacy, counseling for adult and child victims, case management, information and referrals, and educational instruction regarding health and safety issues, legal rights and employment interviewing. County Coordinators provide assistance to victims of family violence in each of the four North Alabama counties served by CSNA. County Coordinators can be reached at the individual county offices Mon - Fri 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
