Included in this list are organizations that provide free or low-cost legal services to victims and survivors of abuse, as well as to others who qualify. Even if the organization does not have a lawyer available to represent you in court, you may want to ask if there is a lawyer with whom you can consult to obtain advice. We list the organizations by the county where the office is located, but many offices serve multiple counties. We indicate the “counties served” whenever possible. DNA People’s Legal Services provides free legal services to persons living in poverty on the Navajo, Hopi and Jicarilla Apache Reservations, and in parts of Northern Arizona, Northwest New Mexico, and Southern Utah. Services include free legal assistance, advice, and representation in U.S. and tribal courts, and community education programs. To apply for services you can call DNA’s centralized intake, complete an online application on their website, or contact the nearest DNA office to schedule an intake interview.
