Included in this list are organizations that provide free or low-cost legal services to victims and survivors of abuse, as well as to others who qualify. Even if the organization does not have a lawyer available to represent you in court, you may want to ask if there is a lawyer with whom you can consult to obtain advice. We list the organizations by the county where the office is located, but many offices serve multiple counties. We indicate the “counties served” whenever possible. Southern Arizona Legal Aid (SALA) provides free civil legal aid services to low income individuals and families in southern and southeastern Arizona, including 11 of Arizona’s Native American tribes. SALA can assist with cases such as: orders of protection for domestic violence victims, divorce, child support, public benefits, and immigration status in cases involving domestic violence, sexual assault, or other crimes, among others. Some of their services include: legal counseling and advice, limited assistance completing legal documents, self-help classes and clinics, lawyer referrals, and representation in court. Services include free legal assistance, advice, and representation in U.S. and tribal courts, and community education programs.
