GreenHouse 17, formerly the Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program, is a nonprofit organization committed to ending intimate partner abuse in families and the community. Services include: 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, safety planning, legal advocacy, children’s safe exchange and visitation, support groups, medical/dental treatment, counseling, supportive housing services, and transportation assistance. Their shelter is located on a farm and offers nature-based healing, nutritious farm-to-table produce, and job training. The Center for Women and Families provides trauma-informed advocacy and support for individuals, families and communities affected by intimate partner violence and sexual assault.
