Safe Harbor of Northeast Kentucky is an emergency shelter and advocacy center that provides confidential services to domestic violence victims. Services include: 24-hour crisis hotline, safety planning, legal advocacy, child advocacy, and referrals. Safe Harbor will never ask for citizenship or documentation status to seek services and will always provide an interpreter. Serving Boyd, Greenup, Carter, Lawrence, and Elliott counties.

Sanctuary, Inc. is a non-profit agency that provides healing services to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.  Services include: 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, transitional housing, crisis counseling, medical advocacy, counseling, legal advocacy, case management, exercise therapy, SAFE exams, emergency agency referrals, and more. Serving Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, Hopkins, Livingston, Lyon, Muhlenberg, Todd, and Trigg counties.

OASIS provides services and shelter to victims of domestic violence and their children through a three-phase program. Services include: emergency shelter, crisis intervention, domestic violence education groups, counseling, life skills, rehousing case management, advocacy (legal, medical, agency, housing, employment), referrals, and more. Serving Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Ohio, Union, and Webster counties.

GreenHouse 17, formerly the Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program, is a nonprofit organization committed to ending intimate partner abuse in families and the community. Services include: 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, safety planning, legal advocacy, children’s safe exchange and visitation, support groups, medical/dental treatment, counseling, supportive housing services, and transportation assistance. Their shelter is located on a farm and offers nature-based healing, nutritious farm-to-table produce, and job training. Serving Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, Nicholas, Powell, Scott, and Woodford counties.

Turning Point Domestic Violence Services is a residential facility that provides emergency shelter and advocacy services to victims and their eligible dependents. Individuals are provided a comprehensive service program based on individual needs. Services include: 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, crisis intervention, case management, safety planning, counseling, advocacy, referrals, services for youth/teens/children, and more. Serving the Big Sandy Area Development District including Floyd, Johnson, Magoffin, Martin, and Pike counties.

SpringHaven, Inc. serves victims of domestic violence and their dependent children in the Lincoln Trail Area Development District. Services include: 24-hour crisis line, shelter in a secure location, case management, education programs, children’s programs, assistance with filing protective orders, court accompaniment, legal advocacy, support groups, and more. Serving Breckenridge, Grayson, Hardin, LaRue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, and Washington counties.

The Center for Women and Families provides trauma-informed advocacy and support for individuals, families and communities affected by intimate partner violence and sexual assault. The Center provides the following services to all qualified individuals and their dependents: 24-hour hotline, connection to emergency shelter services, temporary pet care, sexual assault services, counseling, therapy, support groups, immigrant services, transitional housing, children’s services, education, and more. Walk-in services available during office hours. Serving Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Trimble counties.

Additional offices located in Shelbyville at 512 Main Street, and in Shepherdsville at 200 S. Buckman Street #111.

The Ion Center for Violence Prevention, formerly the Women’s Crisis Center, offers support and services to victim-survivors of power-based violence such as sexual violence, intimate partner violence, child abuse and/or stalking. Services include: 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, pet protection, safety planning, counseling, hospital advocacy and accompaniment, court advocacy and accompaniment, law enforcement advocacy, and violence prevention education. Walk-in service available with no appointment needed. Serving Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen, and Pendleton counties.

Additional walk-in offices located in Williamstown at 1116 North Main Street, and in Warsaw at 100 Davis Drive.

Hope’s Wings Domestic Violence Program offers services for victims of domestic violence in Madison County and surrounding areas. Services include: 24-hour hotline, a secure and confidential shelter facility, transitional housing, safety planning, advocacy services, children’s services, support groups, and other educational and community resources.

The Ion Center for Violence Prevention, formerly the Women’s Crisis Center, offers support and services to victim-survivors of power-based violence such as sexual violence, intimate partner violence, child abuse and/or stalking. Services include: 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, pet protection, safety planning, counseling, hospital advocacy and accompaniment, court advocacy and accompaniment, law enforcement advocacy, and violence prevention education. Walk-in service available with no appointment needed. Serving Bracken, Fleming, Lewis, Mason, and Robertson counties.

The Merryman House provides service to those affected by domestic violence. Services include: 24-hour hotline, hotline chat, emergency shelter, hot meals, safety planning, assistance with protective orders, referrals, support groups, case management, mental health services, financial literacy classes, children’s services, transportation, and more. Merryman does not report the immigration status of any survivor to any government agency without the survivor’s permission. Translation services are provided as needed. Serving the Purchase Area Development District including Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Marshall, and McCracken counties.

The LKLP Domestic Violence Program provides a safe, temporary shelter for victims of domestic violence and their dependent children. Services include: food, clothing, transportation, counseling, children’s programs, court advocacy, personal advocacy, agency advocacy, and referrals. Serving Leslie, Knott, Letcher, Perry, Owsley, Wolfe, Lee, and Breathitt counties.

Bethany House provides safe and secure emergency shelter and services for victims of domestic violence and their children. Services include: 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, emergency shelter, case management, counseling, housing assistance, life skills program, safety planning, legal advocacy, referrals, and more. Serving the Lake Cumberland Area Development District including Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, McCreary, Pulaski, Russell, Taylor, and Wayne counties.

DOVES provides safe shelter and advocacy to victims of domestic violence and their children. Services include: 24-hour hotline, emergency safe shelter, safety planning, support groups, basic needs, hospital advocacy, court and legal advocacy, case management, financial education and assistance, education programs, referrals, and more. Serving Bath, Menifee, Montgomery, Morgan, and Rowan counties.

Barren River Area Safe Space, Inc. (BRASS) provides shelter and advocacy services for domestic violence victims. Services include: 24-hour crisis line, crisis intervention, emergency shelter, homeless and housing advocacy, children’s services, case management, support counseling, mental health counseling, food pantry, emergency financial assistance, outreach programs, and more. The BRASS facility includes a 30-bed shelter, on-site laundry room, and children’s playroom. Serving Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson, and Warren counties.
