Violence Intervention Project (VIP) offers: safe shelter for battered women and their children, emergency transportation, safety planning for all victims, support groups, information, referrals to other agencies, accompaniment to appointments and supervised visitation. The Southwest Crisis Center supports individuals impacted by sexual, domestic violence and human trafficking.Services offered include a 24 Hour Crisis Line, emergency transportation to medical facilities, law enforcement, safe-housing, assistance in obtaining an Order for Protection, Harassment Order, housing, community services, and medical appointments, and general support. Serving Nobles, Rock, Pipestone, Cottonwood and Jackson counties.

Someplace Safe services are free and confidential and available to all victims and survivors of crime. Including those who have experienced: domestic violence, sexual violence and exploitation, human and labor trafficking, and other crimes such as elder abuse, harassment, stalking and others. Offering a 24 hr helpline, advocacy services, support groups, education and short term emergency placement services. Also providing Parenting Time Centers for supervised visitations and exchanges for children and their families. Serving Wilkin, Otter Tail, Wadena, Douglas, Pope, Grant, Traverse, Big Stone, Stevens counties.
