The Family Crisis Center provides an emergency shelter and a number of services only provided to the shelter residents such as children’s groups, children’s fingerprinting, transportation, financial assistance, violence advocates, counselors, parenting and life skills classes and follow up services. Services available to residents of the shelter and non-residents alike are an emergency hotline support groups, safety planning, legal advocacy, and referral services. They serve Walker, Dade, Catoosa, & Chattooga Counties.

Our House provides a 60-day domestic violence shelter as well as an outreach program for non-residents of the shelter. Additionally they offer assistance with jobs searches, housing, custody battles, transportation and childcare.

Services include a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, crisis intervention, case management, safety planning, legal and social service advocacy, support groups, parenting program, outreach, follow-up services, individual support, referral services to social services, mental health services, employment services, and medical services. The center serves Whitfield, Murray and Gordon counties.
