The Army Family Advocacy Program is for members of the Army and their families. Specifically, this program is located at Fort Benning. They offer a victim advocacy program which provides comprehensive assistance and support to victims of spouse abuse, including crisis intervention, assistance in securing treatment for injuries, information on legal rights and proceedings, referral to military and civilian shelters and other resources. An advocate will ensure victims are properly advised of their options for restricted and unrestricted reporting. They also provide a 24-hour hotline for sexual and domestic violence victims.

This is a transitional house, but not an emergency shelter. Safe Haven Transitional, Inc. provides intermediate longer term shelter with a wide range of flexible and optional services that reflect the differences and individual needs of battered women with or without children, which allows them to choose the course of action that is best for them. Safe Haven also provides crisis intervention services, legal advocacy, counseling, and various programs and support groups for survivors of domestic violence. The Douglas County Task Force is a dual Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center for Douglas County, Georgia.
