Albion Fellows Bacon Center provides 24-hr crisis line, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, peer advocacy and children’s program for individuals who have experienced sexual or domestic violence. Men, women, and their minor children are welcome. Serving Vanderburgh, Posey, Warrick, Spencer, Perry, Dubois, Gibson, Pike, Orange, Crawford, and Harrison counties.

The Jennings County Council on Domestic Violence provides information, support and access to community resources to victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse and stalking. Some services provided are listening with a non-judgmental ear, information and referral, outreach materials, court advocacy including help filling out and filing protective orders, community education, business and school presentations, and several support groups.

Bethany House has sheltered single women, women with children, and married couples since it opened in April 1980. Residents come from various backgrounds with many different reasons for needing shelter: job loss, Eviction, release from prison, addiction issues, marital problems, mental and physical hardships. Bethany House also provides a free clothing closet, collaboration with social services agencies, GED classes, among other services.

Council on Domestic Abuse (CODA) serves victims of domesic violence and sexual abuse in the Wabash Valley. Services include: emergency shelter, 24-hr crisis line, legal advocacy, children’s program, education program, sexual assault victim’s advocacy, prevention and support services. Serving Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion, and Vigo counties.
