The YWCA of Greater Flint provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include a 24-hour hotline, prevention education, Emergency Response Team (ERT), Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), victim advocacy (referrals to attorneys, do-it-yourself divorce workshops, assistance with preparing, filing, serving, and maintaining personal protection orders, assistance applying for Crime Victim Compensation, and accompaniment at court), crisis counseling and support groups, referrals to community resources, and prevention education. The YWCA of Greater Flint serves Genessee County.

Shelterhouse provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include a 24-hour hotline, safe shelter, medical and legal advocacy and emergencies, housing assistance, financial resource referral, in-home advocacy services through the domestic violence housing initiative program, school registration, assistance with basic needs (foods, clothing, budgeting), prevention education and outreach, community referrals, and child, youth, and adult therapy. Shelterhouse serves Midland and Gladwin Counties.

Domestic Violence Escape, Inc. (DOVE) provides services to men, women, adolescents, and children who have experienced domestic violence, sexual violence, and/or stalking. Services include: a 24-hour hotline; emergency shelter; advocacy-peer counseling and crisis intervention, information about resources, employment assistance, education, transportation, housing, health, and more; support group; and legal advocacy-assistance with legal issues, referrals, information, PPOs, TROs, accompaniment to court, Crime Victim’s Compensation, and Judicare.
