Crossroads Crisis Center provides services to survivors of domestic violence and their children. Services include: a 24-hour hotline/textline, confidential emergency shelter, non-residential services, safety planning, case management, court advocacy and accompaniment, support groups, children’s programs, community education, and more. Crime Victim Services assists with emergency shelters in area safe homes for domestic violence victims and their children. While in shelter, victims will be provided with a supportive environment where they are kept safe, can gather their thoughts and think of their options. 24 hour crisis line, transitional housing program, legal assistance with protective orders and other advocacy programs are also available.

My Sister’s Place is a domestic violence agency in Athens, Ohio serving Athens, Hocking, and Vinton Counties, providing 24/7 hotline, outreach counseling, and an emergency shelter. A special pet shelter is available on site, if you need shelter and have an animal in danger that you’d like to bring with you, please discuss this with the person answering the hotline for more information.

The Auglaize County Crisis Center provides coordinated family intervention programs to ensure the safety, dignity, and self-determination of those involved in violent family relationships. Collect calls accepted through hotline. Other services: Safe Shelter, Safety Planning, Food and Clothing, Information and Referral, Options for Day Care, Job Skill Training, Subsidized Attorney Representation, Support Groups for Adults and Children, and Case Management.

Tri County Help Center provides multidisciplinary services that serve Harrison, Belmont and Monroe Counties in Ohio. Trained and caring advocates are available 24/7 to provide crisis intervention, safety planning, information about our services, referrals to other community resources in times of need by calling (740) 695-5441. Other services include: rape crisis advocacy, individual counseling, court advocacy, community education and a program for domestic violence abuse intervention.

Dove House is Butler County’s protective shelter for victims of domestic violence. Services include: 24-hour protective shelter, Child Advocacy, complete confidentiality, support and educational groups.

Domestic Violence Project, Inc. is committed to the mission of providing leadership initiatives that contribute to ending physical, sexual and emotional violence.They provide a 24-hour confidential hotline answered by trained volunteers and staff who offer nonjudgmental support and information about options and services available. Temporary emergency shelter in Canton and Massillon for individuals fleeing violence and abuse. Protection from abuse support and legal advocacy in Canton and Massillon courts. Transportation, Medical Advocacy and childcare services are available.

The Caritas House provides a 24/7 protected place to victims and survivors of domestic violence and their children in a safe and secure temporary shelter.

Project Woman offers a wide range of programs and services to protect, educate and empower those affected by domestic violence, sexual violence, intimate partner violence, dating violence, and/or stalking. Available resources: 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, advocacy, mental health and recovery therapy, case management and support groups.

Shelter From Violence provides temporary shelter to domestic violence victims and their minor children. Additional programs and services are available by contacting the shelter.

The Center for Child and Family Advocacy, Inc. has specialized in the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse. CCFA exhibits a commitment to preserving, empowering, and strengthening families in crisis. Offers a variety of professionals to address the vast needs of clients. CCFA provides: domestic violence shelter, 24-hour domestic violence hotline, domestic violence support groups, family justice centers, child advocacy center, victim advocacy programs, professional development workshops and parenting programs.

Safe Harbour Domestic Violence Shelter serves victims of domestic violence and their underage children in Erie, Ottawa and Huron Counties in Ohio. Other services include: 24 hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter with security and 24 hr vigilance systems, counseling, outreach counseling, education, case management, legal advocacy assistance and referrals to community services available.

The Lighthouse program provides a safe, supportive environment for victims and their children when protection is necessary. Counseling and support groups are available, as well as assistance through legal court proceedings.

Serenity House is a shelter for people who experience Domestic Violence and Homeless Women, with or without children. WomenSafe provides shelter services in a safe and secure living environment. WomenSafe has been providing services to victims (adults and children) fleeing violence in their home for over 30 years and has been in our new location for the past two years. Services available today include: emergency shelter, 24-hour support and crisis management hotline, individualized and group counseling, art therapy, court advocacy, peer support, aftercare, education and referrals.

The Family Violence Prevention Center of Greene County program provides immediate housing and safety for victims of domestic violence and their children. Other services available: 24-Hour Crisis Hotline, Counseling and Case Management, Child & Family Counseling and Student Internship Program.

Haven of Hope offers services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, including a shelter, victim advocacy, mediation services, and anger management services.

CCFA provides the following services for domestic violence and sexual abuse victims: Domestic Violence Shelter, 24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline, Domestic Violence Support Groups, Family Justice Centers, Child Advocacy Center, Victim Advocacy, Speaker’s Bureau, In-Service Trainings, Professional Development Workshops and Parenting Programs.

THe Domestic Violence Task Force for Clinton & Highland Counties provide survivor programs. These are available 24-hour a day and at no cost. Services provided by trained and certified staff to survivors of abuse, stalking or sexual violence. Additional services include: 24-hour shelter and crisis line, court advocacy, safety planning, legal assistance and licensed therapy.

The Huron County Victim Assistance Program was established to inform residents of Huron County of their rights as a victim, and to provide quality supportive services and information to those who have been affected by the criminal acts of violence. Other services provided: information and referrals to community services, information on case status, court accompaniment, notification of case status, assistance in filing for temporary and civil protection orders, crime victim compensation assistance, assistance in preparing to testify in court, support groups referrals and 24 emergency on-call hotline referrals.

ALIVE provides emergency sheltering, 24 hour crisis hotline, and advocacy services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Jefferson County, Ohio.

New Directions offers a variety of services to provide victims with the tools they need after surviving domestic violence and abuse. Some of their services include: 24 hr crisis hotline, sexual violence advocacy programs, danger assessments, emergency shelter, youth advocacy, hospital accompaniment and court advocacy support.

Forbes House offers survivors in Northeast Ohio emergency shelter from abusive relationships. We also provide a 24/7 helpline, legal and family advocacy, children’s programs, support groups and counseling for residents and community clients. All services at Forbes House are provided free of charge.

The Center for New Beginnings provides a 24-hour crisis line available for community members who may have questions or concerns about domestic violence, and for those who are in immediate danger and in search of a safe home for themselves and their children. A Friend’s House provides emergency shelter to female and male victims of domestic violence and their underage children.

Turning Point’s services are free of charge and confidential.Turning Point provides victims/survivors of domestic violence and their children with safe, secure, temporary shelter. The shelter is designed to meet the victims’ physical needs by providing housing, food, clothing and personal items, as well as their emotional needs through support services. The shelter also features designated rooms for male victims. LEP/Deaf/Hard of Hearing Services are available.

Family Crisis Network is a program provided by Our Home Family Resource Center. Providing Mercer County residents guidance, shelter, and advocacy programs to escape domestic violence and/or to report sexual assault.

The Family Abuse Shelter of Miami County provides emergency shelter assistance for any woman or man, with or without children, who lack a safe, stable place to live. Offering immediate safe shelter for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, human trafficking, and homeless individuals and families.

The Transitions program serves Muskingum, Morgan, and Perry in Ohio. Provides multidisciplinary services and referrals. Contact program at (740) 454-3214.

Noble Family Violence Council offers domestic violence related services and advocacy.

Family & Child Abuse Prevention Center has advocates that provide information on domestic violence and legal options available to victims in Lucas and Ottawa Counties. Advocates accompany victims to Municipal and Domestic Relations Courts, assist with safety planning, and link victims to other helpful community resources. Advocates are available to conduct presentations for students, community groups, and area professionals on topics related to domestic violence, dating violence, and healthy relationships.

Haven House of Pickaway County, Inc. is a domestic violence and homeless shelter. Providing advocacy, shelter, support and safety planning, crisis intervention, case management, legal advocacy, referrals, support groups, individual counseling for victims. Also, Haven House of Pickaway County offers shelter for women and children who are homeless. All services are free and confidential.

Pike County Partnership Against Domestic Violence serves men and women who have been affected by, domestic violence, providing survivors with hope, safety, advocacy, and education. Services available include: 24/7 crisis hotline, court advocacy, assistance with filing protection orders, law enforcement accompaniment, safety planning, temporary emergency shelter, and more.

Safer Futures provides domestic violence shelter and resource center. Other services offered include: telephone support line, domestic violence civil protection order assistance, civil anti-stalking and sexually oriented offense protection order assistance and support groups. Ross County Coalition Against Domestic Violence provides: safe housing for victims of domestic violence, emergency food, clothing, & personal items, a 24/7 Crisis line, individual case management, legal support and advocacy.

New Choices, Inc. provides emergency shelter, 24 hrs crisis intervention hotline, education, and advocacy for adults and children who are victims of domestic violence.

The Alliance Area Domestic Violence Shelter provides a safe, emergency shelter for men, women and children who are victims of domestic violence, child abuse and other violent crimes in the city of Alliance and surrounding area.

Someplace Safe provides emergency temporary shelter for men and woman, and their underage children who require immediate safe refuge due to family violence. Survivors receive shelter, food, and personal care items. Other programs through Trumbull County and the community are available.

Harbor House Domestic Violence Shelter provides emergency, safe shelter and supportive services for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Education and case management services are also provided on an outpatient basis. A 24-hour hotline is available for victims to access the shelter and other resources.

SAFE on Main, formerly the Abuse and Rape Crisis Shelter, provides services to survivors of domestic violence. Services include: 24-hour crisis hotline, confidential shelter, legal and court advocacy, safety planning, individual and group counseling, children’s advocacy, and referrals. In addition, their licensed therapist provides trauma-informed therapy for individuals receiving intervention services resulting from domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

OneEighty offers professional mental health counseling for adults and children who are victims and survivors of domestic violence, family abuse, sexual assault, sexual abuse, and other forms of trauma. Also, OneEighty offers a temporary emergency shelter to victims of domestic violence and their children.

Sarah’s Friends offers compassionate aid and nonjudgmental support so that no victim is alone. Additional information on available programs and services is available through the website.
