Davis County Victim Services Division provides services and information to victims of crime in the county, including children, victims of domestic violence, families of murder victims, and victims of other crimes. The division provides assistance concerning the court process, notifications of court hearings, updates on discussions between the prosecution and the defense, and schedules appointments with assigned prosecutors. Advocates also provide victims with information abut community based resources that may assist victims.

Layton City Attorney’s Office Victim Services Program offers services to victims, and their family, of crimes including assault, domestic violence, theft, criminal mischief, lewdness, or any other violent crime. Safe Harbor offers services to victims of domestic violence or sexual assault. Services include: a 24-hour helpline, emergency shelter, medical and personal advocacy, rape crisis support group, therapy and crisis counseling, referral for additional support services, 24-hour rape exam accompaniment, support for family and friends of sexual assault survivors. Duchesne Victim Advocates offer services to victims of crime. Advocates work to assist victims through the criminal court process. A primary role is to ensure that victim rights are protected.
