Lac du Flambeau Tribe - Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Program (Benase Equay Wakaigan) serves 11 tribes in the area. Providing: 24/7 Crisis Line, on-call advocates to respond to emergencies or crisis situations, 24/7 Support Staff, assistance for responding Law Enforcement personnel, emergency shelter services to victims and their children, restraining order waivers of fees, accompaniment through legal processes and referrals to other resources, support groups, and assistance to families in need as a result of fire or other catastrophic event by distribution of donated items to the shelter.
