Crisis Intervention Services provides advocacy and support services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services provided include: hotline, legal/economic/medical advocacy, temporary emergency shelter (in a scattered-site model), community education, support groups, and local referrals and resources. Services are provided in a mobile capacity in 12 Southeast Iowa counties: Appanoose, Davis, Jasper, Jefferson, Keokuk, Lucas, Mahaska, Marion, Monroe, Poweshiek, Wapello, and Wayne.

Family Resources provides free, confidential services to survivors of domestic abuse, sexual abuse, human trafficking, homicide, and other violent crime. Services include: a 24-hour crisis line, shelter, rapid rehousing, counseling and therapy, support groups, medical and legal advocacy, safety planning, employment assistance, and more. Family Resources has offices in Davenport, Muscatine, and Clinton.

The Muscatine Center for Social Action (MSCA) operates a shelter at a confidential location to provide a safe refuge for women and their children fleeing domestic violence. Trained staff are on-site 24 hours a day to provide direction, support, and resources for each family member’s needs, including food, clothing, and toys. MCSA also offers transitional and overnight housing, healthcare services, and dental services, among other resources. Serving Muscatine County.
