The Survivor Empowerment Center, formerly The Women’s Center, provides services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Southern Illinois. Services for adults, adolescents, and children include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, safety planning, food, referrals, transportation, individual and group support, counseling information, case management, and legal/medical/personal advocacy. Serving Jackson, Franklin, Gallatin, Johnson, Perry, Saline, Union, and Williamson counties.

SWAN protects and advocates for adult victims of abuse, neglect, and homelessness. Service include: emergency shelter for domestic violence victims and their minor children, rapid rehousing, parenting groups, support groups, abuser intervention counseling, legal advocacy, help with orders of protection, temporary shelter for homeless adults and families, and more. This location serves Jefferson and Washington counties.
