Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, pet shelter, children’s services, support groups, transitional housing, medical and legal advocacy, food and clothing assistance, and more. QUANADA is LGBTQ+ friendly and serves Adams, Brown, Hancock, Schuyler, and Pike counties.

The Cairo Women’s Shelter provides services to victims of domestic violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter with comprehensive services, counseling for adults and children, art therapy, safety planning, legal advocacy, support groups, and more. Advocates can assist with orders of protection in St. Clair, Randolph, and Monroe counties.

Courage Connection provides help to anyone experiencing domestic violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, shelter, legal advocacy, therapy and counseling services, housing assistance, case management, safety planning, court advocacy, immigrant support services, and more. All services are free and confidential, and available in English and Spanish.

Supports survivors of sexual violence throughout central Illinois. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, medical and legal advocacy, child and adult counseling, court accompaniment, help with civil no contact orders, prevention education, and more. Serving Cass, Christian, Greene, Logan, Macoupin, Mason, Menard, Montgomery, Morgan, Sangamon, and Scott counties.

SWAN protects and advocates for adult victims of abuse, neglect, and homelessness. Service include: emergency shelter for domestic violence victims and their minor children, rapid rehousing, parenting groups, support groups, abuser intervention counseling, legal advocacy, help with orders of protection, temporary shelter for homeless adults and families, and more. This location serves Clay County.

HOPE helps victims of domestic violence through housing, outreach, prevention, and education. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, shelter, transitional housing, legal advocacy, counseling, referrals, children’s services, and public education. The shelter and transitional housing do not allow pets but HOPE advocates may assist in making care arrangements for pets if needed

Safe Passage is DeKalb County’s domestic violence and sexual assault crisis center. Services include: a 24-hour hotline and crisis text line, emergency shelter, counseling, legal and medical advocacy, safety planning, crisis intervention, case management, partner abuse intervention program, and community education.

Provides services to victims of domestic violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, shelter, assistance with obtaining orders of protection, legal information, individual counseling for children and adults, family support groups in English and Spanish, and more.

This location serves Fayette and Clinton counties.

Provides crisis intervention services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children. Services include: 24-hour hotlines, legal advocacy for orders of protection, counseling, survivors education program, parenting program, referrals for community resources and services, and more. Services include: 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, emergency shelter, transitional housing up to two years, individual and group counseling, legal and medical advocacy, parenting education, child abuse prevention, foster care program, partner abuse program, and more.

The Survivor Empowerment Center, formerly The Women’s Center, provides services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Southern Illinois. Services for adults, adolescents, and children include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, safety planning, food, referrals, transportation, individual and group support, counseling information, case management, and legal/medical/personal advocacy. Serving Jackson, Franklin, Gallatin, Johnson, Perry, Saline, Union, and Williamson counties.

SWAN protects and advocates for adult victims of abuse, neglect, and homelessness. Service include: emergency shelter for domestic violence victims and their minor children, rapid rehousing, parenting groups, support groups, abuser intervention counseling, legal advocacy, help with orders of protection, temporary shelter for homeless adults and families, and more. This location serves Jefferson and Washington counties.

Provides free and confidential services to domestic violence survivors and their families. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, court advocacy, case management, information and referrals, online chat, and more. Harbor House operates shelters in Kankakee and Iroquois counties for survivors, their children, and their pets. All services are free and confidential.

Provides assistance to survivors of domestic violence and their dependents in Knox County. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, court advocacy, support group, social service referrals, children’s programs, clothing, food, and community education. All services are provided free of charge.

A Safe Place provides services for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking in Lake County. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter for up to three months, transitional and permanent housing programs, family visitation center, intervention program, court advocacy, community education, and assistance filing orders of protection and no contact orders. Individual and group counseling is offered in English and Spanish for children and adults.

Provides support for domestic and sexual violence survivors in Livingston and LaSalle counties. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, medical and legal advocacy, counseling, case management, and education for youth and adults. Services are available in English and Spanish.

Coordinates programs focusing on domestic violence, homelessness, education, volunteer and community empowerment, and meeting individual emergency needs. Services include: shelter for domestic abuse victims, counseling, support groups, legal advocacy, help with obtaining orders of protection, children’s services, referrals, community education, financial assistance, and more.

Oasis Women’s Center provides supportive services to victims of domestic violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter for families, individual counseling for adults and children, and therapy. They can assist with orders of protection in Madison, Macoupin, Jersey, Calhoun, and southern Greene counties. All services are free of charge and completely confidential.

Freedom House provides free and confidential services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include: a 24-hour hotline with bilingual advocates, emergency shelter, case management, counseling, legal advocacy, help with orders of protection, emergency room and medical accompaniment, parenting classes, and more. Freedom House is a gender-neutral/all-inclusive agency. Serving the residents of Bureau, Henry, Marshall, Putnam, and Stark counties.

Provides free and confidential services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, child abuse, and all other forms of abuse. Victim Services assists residents of Hancock, Henderson, Fulton, Knox, McDonough, and Warren counties, regardless of income. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, counseling, legal and medical advocacy, and community education.

Turning Point offers programs and services for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter that welcomes all genders, safety planning, legal advocacy, help filing orders of protection, court accompaniment, individual and group counseling for all ages, educational programs, and more. Their Latino counseling services are customized to meet the needs of Latino individuals experiencing abuse and include support groups, counseling, court system and VAWA overview, and referrals to help with immigration, U visas and T visas. All services are free and a Spanish-speaking advocate is available.

Mid Central Community Action (MCCA) works to eliminate domestic violence and combat homelessness in McLean and Livingston counties. Domestic violence services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter (Neville House), legal and medical advocacy, youth services, adult therapy, support groups for adults and children, and professional training.

Mercer County Family Crisis Center provides services to victims of domestic violence and child abuse. Their services include: a 24-hour hotline, safety planning, counseling, case management, personal advocacy, legal advocacy, help with crime victims compensation, referrals, court accompaniment, and more. Their Child Advocacy Center (CAC) works to reduce the effects of trauma experienced by children in crisis situations, and provides counseling, referrals, resource information, and follow-up services. The CAC coordinates agencies involved in the investigation, prosecution, and treatment of child abuse.

HOPE of Ogle County is a non-profit organization that helps survivors of domestic abuse. All services are free and confidential, and offered in English and Spanish. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, safety planning, temporary and extended emergency shelter, referrals, child/teen/adult counseling, court advocacy, Latinx advocacy, and support groups. An offsite boarding and grooming facility offers temporary shelter to family pets whose owners are staying at the shelter. HOPE has offices in Rochelle, Oregon, and Polo.

All services are free and confidential.
