YWCA Hanover Safe Home provides free and confidential comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and Human Trafficking in Adams County. Services include a 24-hour hotline, temporary safe housing provided off site, referrals to local shelters, referral and support, options counseling, legal advocacy, accompaniment to legal, medical, and other appointments, child and adult therapy, Safe Pet program, community education and prevention, substance abuse treatment, civil legal referrals, and other supportive services.

Family Resources provides services to families. Services include a family support center, First Steps and Reach Out to Families program, support for children with mental health diagnoses, crisis intervention, family unification services, a parent-teen conflict program, Battering Intervention Program (BIP), therapeutic preschool, a counseling center, family focused strength based services, and family-based mental health services. The Center for Victims of Violence and Crime provides services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, homicide or other crimes. Services include a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, legal and medical advocacy, support groups, education program, and a men’s group. The legal advocacy consists of court accompaniment, filing legal documents, safety planning, explanation of available options, and direct advocacy as the case progresses through the legal system.
