Laurel Legal Services, Inc. provides free or low cost legal services to low-income and elderly individuals. Laurel provides free legal representation to most domestic violence victims, regardless of income. Laurel Legal Services caseload covers housing (securing and preserving safe, decent, affordable housing for low-income people); family issues (domestic violence, child safety, health and independence of low-income children, families, and individuals); economic stability (SSI/SSD unemployment, public benefits, and educational benefits). Neighborhood Legal Services Association (NLSA) provides civil legal services to low-income individuals and families. NLSA’s services include representation to victims of domestic violence, custody issues, unemployment compensation, supplemental security income (SSI) cases, social security cases, cases where Department of Human Services (DHS) benefits are being terminated. Representation is also available to low-income tenants, income eligible consumers, and to the older adults, aged 60 and above. NLS’ Bridgewater location serves Beaver County.

Legal Aid of Southeastern PA (LASP) provides legal representation to low-income individuals, victims of domestic abuse, and the elderly. LASP provides free legal services in the areas of: family/custody law, employment law, Protection From Abuse (PFA), public benefits, housing problems, elder law, and consumer and bankruptcy problems. Legal services LASP offers include information and advice, drafting of legal documents, and negotiation and representation in administrative and judicial proceedings. LASP serves Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties.

Provides free civil legal services to low-income, elderly, and victims of abuse. Cases handled include family, consumer and housing law and public benefits within program priorities. LLS assists victims of domestic violence in Protection from Abuse actions without regard to income. Depending on the particular civil legal problems, we may provide direct representation, advice, assistance in self-representation, brief service/limited legal assistance or referral to a private attorney (including free and reduced-fee). The Women’s Resource Center, Inc. (WRC) provides services to adult and child victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence. Services include a 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, safe housing, legal support, counseling, education programs, systems advocacy, and a teen Women’s Resource Center. Legal services include representation, consultation and court preparation, safety planning, assistance with Protection From Abuse (PFA) orders, child custody, child support, divorce, nuisance ordinances from landlords, evictions, consumer debt, banking and tax issues, immigration issues, and employment cases. WRC serves Lackawanna and Susquehanna Counties.
