Catalyst serves domestic violence survivors in Butte County and sexual violence survivors in Butte and Glenn counties. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, transitional housing, rapid re-housing, safety planning, court and hospital accompaniment, counseling, support groups, therapy, and help with restraining orders and custody orders. Sexual assault services include: hospital accompaniment, counseling and support groups in English and Spanish, community education, and more. Catalyst offers services to meet the unique needs of underserved communities, immigrant survivors, and the LGBTQ+ community. Advocates are bilingual and bicultural; a language line is used if needed. All services, including housing, are available to survivors of all genders and their children.

The Victim Assistance Bureau’s mission is to reduce the trauma and frustration of victims, witnesses, and family members affected by crime, by providing services, information, and support. Advocates can assist with: CalVCB applications, referrals to community resources, orientation to the criminal justice system, court accompaniment, victim impact statements, and more.
