Families to Freedom (FtoF) provides long-distance transportation services to victims of family and domestic violence. FtoF helps victims of domestic violence abuse get to safety whether it is to reunite family in the U.S. or to get to available shelter in another city. FtoF’s three modes of travel are: 1. private car or van ride to another county or state for victims with children, 2. fuel cards for victims leaving in their own vehicle to another state, or 3. bus or train pass from shelter to a destination. Genesis primarily services women and children who are victims of domestic violence. The services provided by the shelter include emergency shelter, transitional housing, counseling, and legal assistance. The onsite staff attorney provides direct legal counsel and representation to clients. Counsel also assists with protective orders, divorce, and child custody proceedings. Hope’s Door New Beginning Center offers intervention and prevention services to individuals and families affected by intimate partner and family violence and provides educational programs that enhance the community’s capacity to respond. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, individual and group counseling for adults, a children’s program, emergency shelters, a transitional housing program, legal advocacy, LGBTQ services, and community education. Hope’s Door New Beginning Center serves Dallas, Garland, Plano, and the surrounding counties in North Texas.

Mosaic Family Services serves victims of trafficking, family violence, refugees, and unaccompanied minors. MFS offers legal services such as immigration and family law. The Salvation Army Family Violence Program serves victims of domestic violence. The Domestic Violence Program provides safe shelter, client advocacy, individual, family and group therapy, children’s services, safety planning, legal advocacy (court accompaniment, protective orders, civil and criminal matters), education classes, and non-residential services. The Family Place provides services to victims of family violence. The services include safe housing (emergency shelter and transitional housing), child development center, safe campus learning center (grades K-2), community-based counseling, children’s counseling, prevention education, supervised child visitation, Battering Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP), job readiness program, and legal assistance.
