Family Services of Southeast Texas provides victims of domestic violence with safe house protection counseling (individual and group), case management and advocacy (goal setting, safety planning, referrals, and legal advocates), youth and children services, and outreach services. Family Services of Southeast Texas serves Jefferson and Jasper (Piney Woods Safe House) Counties.

The Johnson County Family Crisis Center provides the following types of services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault a safe place to stay; assistance in getting survivors and family members out of potentially dangerous situations; hospital, legal, medical accompaniment and advocacy. The Crisis Center also provides information and referral services, prevention education and community partnerships, and violence intervention programs. The Crisis Center serves Johnson County.
